With so many critical fishery issues affecting anglers, now more than ever, the entire fishing community must rally together in this fight to protect the future of fishing.
We welcome the fishing public to join the NY State Chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA-NY) for a Fisheries Town Meeting to discuss how we must unite members of the fishing community to address the numerous fisheries issues affecting us all.

RFA-NY Board member, Phil Curcio, Lobbyist and General Counsel for United Boatmen of NY and NYFTTA, will discuss the impact that the reauthorized Magnuson-Stevens Act (MSA) has on the Long Island fishery and how the flexibility amendment, HR 5425, can bring some relief.
Also, Jim Donofrio, RFA Executive Director, and Ray Bogan, RFA General Counsel, will describe the dire future of our sport under the current MSA and explain why it is absolutely necessary to pass an amendment immediately.
